Gehraiyaan Movie Review Deepika Padukone Impress but film did not go that much deep in you noddv

The film ‘Gehraiyaan’ by Deepika Padukone, Ananya Pandey, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Dhairya Karwa has been released on Amazon Prime Video. This film by director Shukan Batra talks about the tangled knot of relationships and their inner depths more than their outer structure. However, it is up to you how much right and wrong you can find in new relationships entangled between four lives. The trailer of this film had increased a lot of excitement and since then the comparison started whether Shukun Batra would once again be able to give a great cinematic experience like ‘Kapoor & Sons’… If you are also looking for the answer to this question, then this review is for you Must read (Gehraiyaan Movie Review).

The story of the tangled relationships of four people
‘Gehraiyaan’ is the story of Yoga teacher Alisha (Deepika Padukone) who lives with her boyfriend Karan (Dhairya Karwa) in Mumbai. While Deepika is trying to make her app successful, Karan is a writer whose book is not getting completed. Alisha’s cousin is Tia (Ananya Pandey) who has come to Mumbai from America with her boyfriend Jane (Siddhant Chaturvedi). Alisha and Tia’s childhood is spent together but then Alisha’s father leaves Mumbai and goes to Nashik and Alisha remains middle class. At the same time, Tia’s life is very different from Alisha and she is very rich. All four go on a trip to Alibaug and Jane starts flirting with Alisha and then the equation of the relationship starts deteriorating.

Beautiful Deepika Padukone at beautiful locations
Talking about the good things of the story, they are beautiful locations and Deepika Padukone looks very beautiful. Along with beauty, Deepika has brought out every emotion on screen very well. Be it irritation, sadness, fear or love… you will know everything from his face. Siddhant Chaturvedi has also been good in acting and you will be able to feel every shade of his character. Ananya Pandey has also looked good in her character or should say that this will be her first film in her short career, in which she is so connecting.

Deepika Padukone is seen wearing a bikini in this film after 9 years.

The film turns purple showing gray shades
There is often the concept of hero-villain in Hindi films and as an audience you are able to differentiate between who is right and who is wrong. But when it comes to relationships, things are not black or white, rather everything is grey. Shakun Batra’s story also focuses on this grey… but the real problem starts when the story starts turning purple or blue while showing this ‘grey’. The same has happened in this film as well. At the end of this film full of emotions, you will feel only one emotion and that is Khali Pal… Actually this is what happened with me. Couldn’t understand which character you are feeling more pain or sympathy for after the movie is over, Alisha, Tia, Karan or Jane…

It is clear that all the four actors may have appeared together in the promotion, but this film belongs entirely to Deepika Padukone, whose opposite is Siddhant Chaturvedi. Everything in the film has been kept from the point of view of Deepika Padukone and Deepika is tremendous in her work. She does such a measured and controlled acting on camera that it is very difficult for you to remember that you are watching Deepika Padukone. But the problem comes when in the end you cannot even feel sympathy for his character. However, you may feel more connection or pain for Ananya Pandey because she has been cheated from everywhere.

deepika padukone, gehraiyaan, gehraiyaan review, movie review gehraiyaan,

Deepika Padukone’s natural acting will win your heart.

In the end, I can only say that this film has not gone as deep as it should have gone and has remained quite shallow. From my side 2.5 stars to this film. Point 5 for extra star Deepika Padukone.
